Sadly I can't see the immage because of the curse of the img. Here are two more basic character designs as well; A basic Electroid and one named Destron
@theNintengeek Okay, here's the actual size of the sprite that I made. And I'm working on it's walk animation, here's the front: EDIT: If that coloration doesn't fit the style of the game, which I assume is the case, I'm working on brighter variations of it. EDIT x2: Heres a more bright version with a different pallet, with and without a cape.
I reworked some Default Sprites for max. Here is him in his adventure clothes (how you will view him throughout the game mostly) and heres him in his post man clothes (it has to do with the prologue)
sprite I made a while ago. Its design inspired by tron, and boba fett/ jango fett. Needs some editing though its not looking to similar to the other sprites XD
More character Dump, Alex Defender... Leader of your hometown's royal guard and Max's big brother. Max looks up to him very much, even though max has no interest in ever becoming a knight.
I think generally we're going to use the 16-bit Style more than the 32-bit. However I've come up with a character that both your mech and your character goes well with. The reasion why the Electroids are bigger than Max and Alex is because well... they are bigger.
What time period are we aiming for again? A lot of these clothes look very modern and the way the story was told to me I believe its set in medeival times but with robots?
Just a thought, but maybe change the design of the electroids' heads? They look a little too... human. The heads also look like magolor from Kirby of the black mage from final fantasy.
there really isn't a time period. It borrows designs from both modern and ancient ideas, but it doesn't take place on the same earth that we live on. sort of like the alternative universe theory
Thats kind of the idea. Their eyes are actually supposed to just be a screen displaying circles on them Also, Idle animation thingy? Just testing waters with animating
Photoshop. Its not something I'd recommend if you don't know how to use it. I've been using it for years now though, and every graphic I've ever made from the Gaming Outlet Logo, to the thumbnails in some of my videos, and then obviously this.
