Happy new year everyone! 2010 may not have been the biggest year for Zelda in terms of actual games released but not only have we seen Ocarina of Time 3D, we have also bore witness the next console Zelda game. 2011 is the year we will see these two games released, and we will finally have another console Zelda title to play after more than four years of waiting. We will also have our first 'proper' remake of a Zelda title.

The other day, I finally got round to watching the critically acclaimed film Inception. If you have not seen the film, and you intend to watch it sometime, then stop reading now! Assuming you have seen the film, you will know about it's fairly complex plot about dreams, dreams within dreams, and the human subconscious. After watching the film, I started to think about the one Legend of Zelda game that is based on dreams - that is, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

Skyward Sword has recieved quite a mixed reaction from fans, but this article isn't about the upcoming Zelda title. Instead, this article will focus on the Zelda community. The online Zelda community has, in internet years, been around for ages. It's roots date back to the 1990's, when sites such as North Castle first opened. Since then, the community has developed into a large but closely-knit group of friendly webmasters and fans. And while the Zelda community may not be perfect, the people who make up it have much to be proud of.
